My name is Allyson, and I am a proud Gen-Z advisor. My journey began in Manila, Philippines, where I was born and raised until the age of 12. From an early age,

I saw how hard it was to make a living.

My parents, both dedicated nurses, worked tirelessly, yet we still faced financial challenges. When we migrated to Canada 13 years ago, they made a difficult sacrifice, leaving behind everything they had worked for to start from scratch in a new country.

Life wasn’t easy. I watched my parents take on opposite shifts, working long hours just to provide for us. Their sacrifices and resilience taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and faith. I knew I wanted to find a way to create a better future, not just for myself but for my family and others facing similar struggles.

While studying at the University of Manitoba, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Psychology, I worked part-time at a Filipino restaurant. It was during this time, in 2020, that I was introduced to Greatway Financial. Despite having no background in the industry, I took a leap of faith and joined. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions of my life.

While still in university, I studied diligently and obtained my insurance advisor license. What started as a part-time job to help with expenses quickly became something more

it became my calling. After graduation, I decided to pursue this career full-time, knowing that I had the opportunity to truly make a difference.

I chose this path because I know what it’s like to start over in a new country, to feel uncertain about the future, and to work tirelessly to build something better. My goal is to help individuals and families, especially fellow immigrants, make informed financial decisions that can protect their futures and create generational wealth.

Through faith, perseverance, and unwavering commitment, I’ve been blessed to grow in this career and reach the position of Senior Vice President. But titles don’t define me, helping people does.
